Back by popular demand! Dr. Acosta’s presentation for the PTA’s Social/Emotional Well-Being Event in spring 2019 provided informative, applicable, and encouraging information for parents of G/T children. We are thrilled to have her back! Dr. Acosta will review the concepts previously discussed, including supporting children experiencing anxiety and stress, as well as discuss parental pressures to get it all “just right.”

Specific topics will include:

  • Giving our children the “right” emotional support or tools they need, especially when we aren’t sure what they are feeling
  • When to hold them accountable
  • How to talk to them about their changing thoughts and feelings
  • Fostering self-care for ourselves and supporting each other in the Bendwood parent community

Please RSVP here.
