Bendwood Elementary

Bendwood Elementary is part of the Spring Branch Independent School District and is home to two important programs; SPIRAL and PPCD.

The SPIRAL program serves the needs of gifted and talented students in grades 3 through 5 from all over the district. SBISD elementary schools send their GT students to Bendwood once a week for specialized curriculum in language arts, social studies, science, and math.

The PPCD program is also housed at the Bendwood campus and serves the needs of pre-school aged children with disabilities. This early intervention program provides a nurturing environment to help children meet their individual needs and prepare them for Kindergarten.

Approximately 1000 students from 25 SBISD elementary schools attend Bendwood each week.
